Description

This issue is related to my post #360.

I would like to submit the QCWrapper jobs to the queue, infact our system people are demanding it as by running it interactively it can negatively impact the interactive nodes.

I have found that the problem is that the compute nodes are trying to access the dkrz database file and fails. Is there a way of specifying a local database file for testing purposes?

Regards,

This is a good idea for the future. However, I have to postpone it until the pressing issues for CMIP5 QC at the core centers PCMDI, BADC and DKRZ and the QC applications L2 for our MPI-M data and L3 for all replicated data give me a break.

I created a qcWrapper version for use with a local DB in a svn branch:

http://svn-mad.zmaw.de/svn/mad/Model/QualCheck/QCWrapper/branches/localdb

I tested it with a postgres db setup.
Please read the readme.txt file. This is the only available updated documentation.

qcAssignL2.py is not working with this smaller version of the QCDB.
Covered are the insert/update by qcWrapper.py, the analysis by qcDbselect.py, the result deletion by qcDbdelete.py and the flagging of results as excluded by qcExclude.py.

new: create_tables.py - create tables and views in QCDB defined in a db configuration file
